Region II National Cups

National Cup Rosters are due for all competitions on June 2. Beginning June 4, any roster that is late will accrue a $100 a day late fee. Any roster not received by June 8 will disqualify a team. Rosters must be typed and in alphabetical order by the last name. Use the electronic roster found in the download section of this website. The state registrar must sign each roster to verify all players were on the team ten days prior to the first regional game (June 8). This signature also verifies the state registrar has checked for player  international clearance and/or professional status.

About the National Cups

The USASA National Cups program is the oldest and most prestigious adult competition offered to all affiliated teams of the United States Adults Soccer Association. It is also open to any youth soccer team whose players are registered with the United States Soccer Federation.

Six divisions of competition are offered each year: Men's Open Cup, Men's Amateur Cup, Men's 0/30 Cup, Men's U/23 Cup, Women's Cup and Women's U/23 Cup. In addition, those teams who enter into the Men's Open Cup  competition are also  entering the USSF Lamar Hunt Open Cup. This competition allows our adult men teams the possibility of playing the Major League Soccer (MLS) teams for the championship title.

The competition for the 2009 -2010 year will begin in September 2009 in many of our states in Region II. Contact your state office now for more information. The regional competition will be held in Chicago, IL on June 18-20, 2010 at Gaelic Park in Chicago, Illinois. The National Finals, where the regional winners in all competitions compete for the national championship title, will be held in Oakford, Pennsylvania (just outside of Philadelphia) on July 30 - August 1, 2010.

The U23 national competition will be held in Kansas City, KS on July 23-25, 2010 and we will send BOTH the first and second place teams from the regionals to that competition,. The U20's will be held in Region I. All teams who want to go to that championship will be automatically given a berth
